Green Leash Giveaway-Part 2!!

Well, I think it's time for another Green Leash Giveaway. What do you all think? I know how to make leather service dog leashes and would like to share another one with a blogger friend. These are leashes that can adjust to two different lengths and are braided together for extra strength. Here are a few pictures of the leash so you can see what they look like.

[This is the leash in green]
[And here's the leash in blue that I recently made for Paris. I really like the blue color.]
  • To enter leave a comment telling me a unique trait you love about your dog(s).
  • I'll give you a second entry if you blog about this giveaway, make sure to leave a second comment on this post letting me know that you've done it.
  • I'll give you a third entry if you are a follower of this blog.
So, that gives everyone 3 chances to win.

If you don't have a blog please leave your e-mail address in your comment so I can contact you if you win.

You have until Midnight on Sunday July 25th (Picassa's Birthday) to enter the giveaway and a winner will be announced on Monday July 26th.

I will also give the winner the option of a different color if you want it to match your school's color, dogs vest or personal preference. I have green, blue, black and red and if you ask nicely I may be able to get another color if you want. (I won't do yellow or orange because the colors look awful and I don't want to give anyone a crappy looking leash. :D) I will also give the winner the option of having their dogs name stamped into the leash.
Good luck to everyone!

Let's see, a unique trait about my dogs....

Eva~I love her zeal and wonderfully bright outlook, no matter how bad she is feeling.

Rizzo~I love her deep respect (fear) of the cat and the way she bosses the big dogs around when they get to rowdy.

Charlie~I love how as soon as we are in public, he is completely ready to work and pay attention to every move I make, no matter how little it is.

Yippy!! I'll post what Dagan is doing right now. He's happily wagging (DH just got home), with a toy in his mouth saying "woowoowooowooowoo" in a grumbly sort of way. Every now and then, he throws out a "woowoo" that sounds like "I love you." I told him that, if he learned to tell me he loves me, I'd keep him forever. So, when he did it, I emailed my CFR to (jokingly) tell her that we needed to CC him, because I'd made him a promise. She said she would only accept video evidence. Sadly, we can't catch him on video :(

Yay!!! I have been hoping you would do another green leash giveaway! One really unique trait I love about Ryder is that he is SO attentive to me and is always looking at me while we are out working. He always has his focus on me so he is ready for what ever I am going to tell him to do.

I blogged about your wonderful leash. :)

I also think I am a follower of your blog. I don't know how to check and see though.....

Ooooh - fun... We'll play. One of my favorite things about Hosta is the way he walks. He looks like he needs an alignment. He walks straight with his front legs but his back legs swing to the right a bit. It's hilarious and I have gotten comments that he can't be a lab because he doesn't walk like a lab. Okay - whatever!

I'm putting a post up on my blog about your leash give away!

Oh My! I Love your leashes! :)

My first post is about Rocco. The unique trait that I really love about Rocco is his abnormally long tongue. No joke! It looks like a frog's tongue. And I don't think he has much control over what it does. When he opens his mouth it just rolls out like one of those Fruit by the Foots. Or, if you remember the Honeycomb cereal commercials, that's what his tongue looks like. He will lick everything in sight. :)

Ok, so this post is for my being a follower of your blog and it's about my pet dog Arwen.

I love the way Arwen talks to you. She sound exactly like Scooby Doo! :) You can say, "Arwen!" and she'll "Roobyrooo!" HAHA!

I love when my dogs stretch and do frog legs, especially from wiggling on their back when holding a toy. I was told this was rare, but 3 of my puppies have done it so far. Just one of the many things that makes me smile. I always hope the joy that my pups bring me, they can bring to others, regardless of their futures. (See top of page on http://slcpuppyraisers.yolasite.com/fun-photo-page.php for frog leg example.)

Patriot's unique trait is that he will roll onto his back and twist his body so he is itching his back.

Hobbs' is that he will take advantage of ANYTHING soft on the floor to use as a bed.

Yay!! Those leashes are SO cool.

I love how Don will sleep until 11 am, then groan and grunt when I wake him up. I also like how his ears go way back when he's happy (I call this his "happy ears")

Hey Y'all! I'm Ashley and I'm raising pup #2 for Canine Companions for Independence! Here are their unique traits:

Mindy- I love the way she swings her hips when she she walks and how she would sleep under my desk all day at school then run around like crazy once I released her at home!

Meeden- I love how she wags her tail when she is sleeping and the way she shoves her head in her jacket!

Unfortunately I don't have a blog so my e-mail is t.tomlinson12@gmail.com

I am a follower of your blog! I sure hope I win this time. I want one of your leashes so bad!!!

Maddie, Betsy, Jorinda, and Petuina said...

I love how Betsy has slept loose in my room every night since she was 4 months old and she has never once woken me up. A bad unique thing for a GDB pup...she won't go pee on wet ground. She once held it for 35 hours because it was raining.

I love how good Jorinda is at relieving on command. She completely understands it. And I love how eager she is to please. I know those aren't really unique..but I've only had her for two weeks...cut me some slack! ;)

Ok I just signed up to follow your blog, your leashes look awesome! :-)

Unique things about my dogs:

James- his smile. This dog really knows how to grin. And his ability to remember each and every place we have ever been and that he thinks to tell me about it and ask me if I want to go in there again.

Niche- his drive. He is like the energizer bunny always on the go.

Monty- his ability to make me laugh no matter what. He's the comic relief around the house.

Katrina said...

I love my cuddly 75 pound pooch....she demands cuddles all day and I love how she will flick a hand up with her muzzle to get love.

YEY!! I love your leashes! So cool!!
I follow your blog.
Something unique about my dog...Wren LOVES to be out in public. Now that she is CC'd her favorite place is the NYS State Fair. We left her off leash when we get to the building in the morning and she will run to our booth and jump up on her platform ready to greet her adoring public.

Ok...my pups.

1. Chelsie Belle - Before every agility run, I bend down and kiss Chelsie's nose after taking her lead off. In every video I have, the very tip of her tail wags while I kiss her nose - all while holding her start line stay.

2. Ace - Ace doesn't always give himself enough room to jump in his crate in the back of my SUV. I love when he puts his paws up in front of his crate and looks back at me as if to say "help me in mom, help me in!!!"

I love how if I leave Breeze for a minute she starts wondering where I am and if she is on tie down and I am in the kitchen she always follows me with her eyes.

I love how Pepe knows where we are when we travel in the car. He knows puppy class, the mall, and his favorite place is the dog park. He starts whining about a mile before hand!

I am a follower of your blog, and I posted this on my blog, too!

I have posted about this wonderful giveaway. And in my fashion I will dedicate this post to Freya.

The one thing I will never forget about Freya is her absolute devotion to her person or persons. Once that dog bond with you she is bonding for life. While at graduation I saw how she and Mr. L had become a team, but when we were alone before going on stage it was like she and I were the team again. She never forgets a person. :)

I used to have a green leash like that..... I seem to recall that it had Meade's name on it... I wonder where it went ;)

No hurry though! Take your time! I don't trust her THAT much yet...

I love these leashes!!

A unique trait about my guide dog puppy in training Frito is that she LOVES to open and close crate doors with her nose!! When she is excited, she will go to her crate and push it open, close, open, close, open, close. She will then go across the room to my pet dogs crate and repeat! It's hilarious!!

Cura's Mom said...

I found your blog through One Cool Breeze by Katherine! I am now a follower!

Cura's loveable trait . . . she absolutely HATES random drills and stops participating after a bit -- but show her that what you are asking her to do has purpose (i.e. helps her to do her job) and she is all over it!

Me me me! Torino is unique because he is the only yellow male (Lab or Golden) that I've raised- out of 12.

Hello, I have been following your blog for a little while now.

One thing that Tenaya always does that puts a smile on my face is when she give me this look with her eyebrows raised and inhales making grunting noises.

Every morning Halette stretches down the stairs dragging her back legs and walking with her front.

Hi Megan! Thanks for hosting this contest!

Some unique traits, eh... let me think...

Eve-- When I introduced her to a beanie baby puppy dog, she thought it was her puppy and would lick it until it was completely covered in spit :)

Vigo-- I've only spent 2 weeks with him, but so far his most unique trait was that the first time he heard the vaccum, he looked at me and pooped right there. Hopefully that will not be a trait we see ever again!

I just became a follower of your blog! Thanks!

Carrie and Waffle said...

let's see, Truffie's most unique trait would be that she needs all four paws to chew her toys. Just Two won't do! To do this means she is chewing on her BACK! if it is a really really good toy she will have to roll off her bed.

We'll definitely be posting this on our blog. Thanks for the game.

One unique trait that I love about Ggoody is that even though she is a black lab, on her tail she has yellow fur beneath the black. We call her the yellow tailed black lab. I also love how well behaved Ggoody is. She is the first dog I have had that I can completely trust to come on recall even when off leash.

A unique trait I love about Caesar is his mega smarts. He has picked up SO quickly on everything that's been thrown at him, no matter what it is. I also love his circle obsession... he walks, runs and plays in circles!

A unique trait I love about Edgar is how he climbs into an empty 40lb bag of food to clean up any stray kibble and crumbs before I throw it out. LOL!

Rebecca, Ely and Joe said...

A unique trait about Ely is that he is the most laid back dog ever! He acted like he was 15 years old at 9 weeks old! Since Joe won’t be here till tomorrow, I am hoping that he will be as calm as his uncles!

What I loved about Beau was how he would rub in and out of my legs every morning when we would get up.
What I love about Dahlia is how she has random black hairs throughout her yellow coat.
And what I love about Halsa is the two huge black spots on her tongue! :)

Well, I thought I would put in an entry as we no longer live together or are even in the same county! So, of course I love my Boone Man and I would have to say my favorite thing about him are his eyes! They are just so yellow and stun me every time!

Doug-I love that his name fits his dopey personality.

Zuni-he licks more than any guide dog puppy I have ever had but never mouths!

Claudi-her broken tail is just adorable, especially when it wags in circles like a helicopter
