Adeline sleeps on the floor with my sister Whitney 20 minutes before I notice that she is in season.
Frog Dog.
I don't know if maybe this makes her more comfortable. Hmm. . . It's darn cute though.
Adeline loves her diaper and shakes and wiggles when I put it on her. So cute.

Hey, I was going to say that on her nightly ritual picture she looks a little swollen, but didn't want to say anything. I don't know if that is the right timing? Anyway, enjoy her as a house pet for her time left with you! That really stinks! Oh well, good luck Adeline in the next couple of weeks still in training!
Yep, that is when I started watching her like a hawk. I don't consider them in season until there is blood. That is what I was told by my leader when my first puppy went into season. So I still watch for blood before reporting it.
That stinks!! Dova has the same diaper and is the same about the pacing, etc. At least that is what my co-raiser said. Well have fun with her!!
Aww the doggy diapers...so cute.
yeah, I've never raised a female, but when they start bleeding is when I consider them in season too, are you getting excited yet!?!
Yep, I am soooo exited!!!!!!!! I can hardly wait to be holding my first little boy in my arms. Especaily since he will be my first baby puppy in 3 years because my last two pups have been transfer dogs. And now I am semi-dogless. :( It will be nice to start fresh and not have little quirky things to work out that were not caused by me. I am torn because I want the days to go by fast so I can meet my little man but not too fast because I adore Adeline and she is going to be my hardest to say good bye to. It's funny I always say that Tahoma was my #1 and my favorite dog to raise but Adeline has taken that possition. She is such a special dog and I really want her to make it because I can't picture her doing anything else. Okay done with my rant. lol
she'll make it if she is anything like Avery! Avery was a very special dog as well, I think they should repeat that breeding! I hope the days go slow with you and Adeline and go fast in regards to getting to meet your little man!
Thanks, I have been watching Avery through training and he is going through about a phase a week. It is amazing. Her brother Argyle seems to be stuck he was in phase 2 for a month and a week and has been in phase 3 for two weeks. Poor boy, I hope everything is okay with him. I think the only worry I have about Adeline is that she will have a tough time transitioning to the kennel environment. She can be a bit sensitive and she is especailly senstive when she is not with me. I have heard stories about her from puppy sitters who tell me she is scared of EVERYTHING. . . that worries me. I am sure she will do fine with profesionals who know what they are doing and how to handle dogs because the comments I get about her being balky is from first time raisers waiting for their own dogs. We will see. . .I am so exited to see how she does. She is from an international litter too and so far none have been chosen for breeding so there is a possiblity there. I really hope that they repeat the breeding it was an awesome litter or at least get one of them as breeders to pass on thier genes. I have heard nothing but possitive things about this litter. I wish them all luck in training and hope they all become great guides.
